The nicest guy in Hollywood, Dave Holmes originally gained national attention as a finalist on MTV’s “Wanna Be a VJ” contest in 1998. He didn’t win, but no matter — he was hired by the network to conduct celebrity interviews and host programs like 120 Minutes and Say What? Karaoke for several years.
